Answers in Genesis —
Thanks!

We had a great Answers in Genesis Conference!  We had people from many towns in the Northern Indiana area, and some from as far away as western Illinois and Michigan!  Our high attendance was on Sunday evening with 274 present to hear the truth that God’s Word is accurate, from the very first verse!

Our thanks to Dr. Tommy Mitchell, who did a tremendous job of presenting, explaining, and answering questions. We found Tommy to be full of energy, wit, and Southern grace.

Our thanks too, to all who helped with Conference in any way.  Special appreciation goes to Brian Shively, who arranged the Conference; David Kreider, who put in long hours for the audio-visual aspects for the overflow area; Mark Shively, for both AV work and general labor in preparing everything; to Amy Perry for the childcare; Amy Targgart and Jackie Zumbrun, for clerking the AiG Store; Jeff Gipe who also worked long on the media ministry issues.  (The sound room takes many more hours than folks realize.). Also, our appreciation to Don Shearer, who also spent no small amount of time dealing with getting the water situation worked out so we would have drinking water available during the Conference.  We heard many appreciative comments for the extra water cooler (and cups) that were in the foyer, and for the overflow seating in the north wing where people could watch the presentation on the screen and hear it very well.  And, thanks to Linda, Amber, and  Mandy Hartman, who also spent extra time cleaning for the conference.  Finally thanks to Laura, Cora, and Olivia Myers, who helped set up the BRF Brethren New Testament Commentary tables. And for those who put up posters, gave flyers to their friends, and talked up the Conference, thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

If there are others I have missed, my apologies…you all played an important part in make the AiG Conference so that Tommy Mitchell can say, “It was a terrific event with great attendance and lots of positive comments from folks who had visited the Creation Museum. It was evident that much prayer and much planning went into this conference.”

Tommy Mitchell posted on his blog about his experience at Blue River:

And thanks to you, if you attended. We were happy to host it!
